about
Under the Harvest Moon, is a 16th-century English folk song celebrating the appearance of the harvest moon, the full moon of late September to early October. The harvest moon marked the last chance to gather crops before the barren winter months cast a frost over the lands.
lyrics
Autumn comes, the summer is past,
Winter will come too soon,
Stars will shine clearer, skies seem nearer,
Under the Harvest Moon.
Autumn comes, but let us be glad,
Singing an autumn tune,
Hearts will be lighter, skies be brighter,
Under the Harvest Moon.

Cover artwork by British landscape painter Samuel Palmer, 1833.
'In The Harvest Moon, Palmer portrayed labourers bundling sheaves of corn into the night, an agricultural practice that was common at the time during harvest season. But the composition is not simply a naturalistic representation of peasant labor; bathed in the celestial amber light of the full moon and painted in an unpretentious style, the scene assumes a mystical quality. The ghostly bodies of the peasants express none of the toil of their labor but rather seem to dance with the rhythm of nature.'

Excellent album well medieval with nice melodies, great work on the synths, enchanting, with a raw production, and with an excellent artwork. The perfect blent with Black Metal and Dungeon Synth, epic, melodic, nice atmosphere and amazing ambience. darkenedspirit (Midgard_OBM)

Incredible! Exactly what I look for in an album! I very much hope there will be another batch of cassettes released so I can buy the collection in physical format. SonOfRomulus
